Overview
The HTC U Ultra was released in February 2017 as one of the company’s final flagship attempts. It runs on the Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 821 chipset with 4 GB of RAM.
Storage options are 64 GB and 128 GB, with no microSD expansion slot on the 64 GB model. The display is a Super LCD5 capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors.
Power comes from a 3000 mAh Li-Ion battery, which is modest by 2017 flagship standards. The phone remains available in Bangladesh at roughly 64,000 Taka.
Its standout feature was a secondary ticker display above the main screen, similar to the LG V series. Otherwise, the U Ultra faced criticism for its price and battery life.
