Overview
The HTC Desire 628 is an entry-level Android smartphone that HTC released in June 2016. It targets budget-conscious buyers who want a recognizable brand without paying flagship prices.
Powering the device is a MediaTek MT6753 chipset paired with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. That combination handles everyday tasks like messaging, browsing, and light apps, though it is not built for demanding gaming.
The phone uses an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with support for 16 million colors. HTC did not position the display as a standout feature, and it sits in the typical range for phones in this price bracket.
A 2,200 mAh battery keeps the Desire 628 running, which is modest by modern standards. Heavy users will likely need a midday charge, while lighter users can expect a full day.
In Bangladesh, the HTC Desire 628 is available at approximately 19,990 Taka. At that price, it competes with several better-specced alternatives from rival brands.
