Overview
The Huawei Nova Y74 is an entry-level smartphone that became available in May 2026. It sits in the budget segment, with an approximate price of 29,999 Taka in Bangladesh.
Huawei has not disclosed the chipset powering the device, which is unusual for a mainstream release. The phone pairs 8 GB of RAM with a choice of 128 GB or 256 GB of internal storage.
Its 6.7-inch-class IPS LCD panel runs at a 90Hz refresh rate and reaches 850 nits at peak brightness. That combination is modest but workable for everyday use and outdoor visibility.
The standout specification is a 6620 mAh battery, which is larger than most phones in this price bracket. It should translate to extended runtime between charges.
The Nova Y74 targets buyers who prioritise battery life over performance or camera hardware.
